Baseball Gloves Selection:
1. Baseball Gloves Size Measuring Method: Measuring from baseball gloves forefinger hand back to bottom side of gloves surface. One inch is 2.54 cm; 12 inches is 30.5 cm.
2. Baseball Gloves Size Selection: Below 11 inches is for elementary school children; 12 inches is for junior/senior high school youngsters and for adults with smaller palms. Above 12 inches is for adults with bigger and thicker hands.
(above suggestions is for references only due to everyone has different palm thickness.
If uncertain which size is appropriate for you, can try at close-by sports shops or mall then determinate size.
If size is inappropriate, then buyer must pay for transporting/mailing fees.
[Memo] Basically, DL baseball gloves is smaller than other brands. It is suggested that users with smaller hands must not choose under 12-inch DL baseball gloves.
3. Forehand/Backhand Selection:
Should wear Forehand gloves on left hand, then batting with right hand; is used by Right-Handed users.
Should wear Backhand gloves on right hand, then batting with left hand; is used by Left-Handed users.
4. Baseball Gloves Materials ranked by price values include: Plastic Cover, Half-Leather, Full-Leather, Hard-Leather, and Customized Leather.
(1) Plastic Cover- High Fiber Composite Cover.
(2) Half-Leather- Palm catching area is made with leather; hand-back and internal-layer section is made with composite leather.
(3) Full-Leather- External palm side is made with leather; internal hand-back side is made with lather or pork skin.
(4) Hard-Leather- External palm side is made with hard leather; internal hand-back side is made with general leather added with leather-stitches on the surrounding area.
(5) Customizied Northern-America Hard Leather- Use three-year mature Northern-America Hard Leather. Hand-made with one specialist for one gloves for the entire process. Its internal layer is using calf leathter or deer leather.
Inside three fingers leahter part add compressed sheep skin pad to enhance gloves-feeling.
For customizing baseball gloves, can specify color and embroidered words.
5. Baseball Gloves Location Selection can be divided as: Pitcher, Infielder/ Short-Stop, Outfielder, First Baseman, and Catcher.
(1) Pitcher- Gloves Ball-Stall is closed. When gaming, pitcher must communicate with catcher using hand-signs in case others might read their next step; hence ball-stall is closed.
General size is 12 inches.
(2) Infielder/ Short-Stop- These gloves uuse the same ball-stall which contains T-Shaped and Bow-Shaped are both penetrating type with size approximately between 11 and 12 inches. When wearing, they are rather light and agile; however with stable feelings in the center of pams that makes it easier to pass balls in short period of time.
(3) Outfielder- Baseball-Stall contains two horizontal sticks with one vertical stick and two horizontal sticks with two vertical sticks are both penetrating types which helps observing ball's falling points through seams and easier tot catch high-fly-balls.
With their enhanced arms, their general size is 13 inches.
(4) First Baseman- Its gloves styling is rather unique. For its frquent interactions with pitcher, it results in most ball-cathing opportunities for first baseman gloves.
Hence, adding thicker stuffings from inside of big thumb and little finger; additionally, adding 3MM anti-resistant PE board for enhanced fastening.
Gloves requires to build more firm and solid so its defending can be unbeatable.
(5) Catcher- Gloves must undertake pitcher's high-speed ball reaching 150KM.
Therefore, its material, structure, and design are all particularly chosen.
Its lining are tailored with 30MM thick and shock-resistance material so cathing-ball would be easier.
